Came to Christchurch for a holiday and visited Bobabear yesterday.
Strong tea flavour, but I think it would be better if it was more creamy and had more milk flavour. Love the sugar levels here, I think normal sugar level you can still taste the strong tea flavour. I’m a tea lover too and I think the tea used by Boba bear was well chosen. I can’t judge your pearls as it was sold out, I personally find drinks at Bobabear a little bit more expensive but I can kinda understand why. The waffles smells great too and looks delicious, saw eco friendly cups as well. Nice shop! Will visit again next time I come to Christchurch.

The lady who was serving my order was wearing same gloves she used in handling payment including cash payment, preparing customers’ order including mine (where she was touching the food). I also saw she was scratching her face and using her cellphone with same gloves on. I was actually watching her the whole time while I was waiting for my order to be ready. Read moreI’ve tried 3 different milk tea flavours from here and all of them unfortunately tasted pretty bad. They all have a weird taste to them and for the flavoured milk teas like mango, passionfruit, blueberry etc they just make normal milk tea and I assume add in some type of syrup or flavouring, but the flavours clash so the drinks just don’t taste very good.
