University of Canterbury — Attraction in Christchurch

This is a great university. I have attended at Dunedin as well but Canterbury is soooo much better. The grounds are brilliant with the Avon River and Okeover steam flowing down either side of the grounds, which are covered in mature trees and plantings. The facilities have and are being updated after the quakes (which were nearly 4 years ago now) so there are new science labs with every type of technology you could want and more new buildings under construction. The courses are well structured and the teaching staff are excellent, they have students best interests at heart and come from myriad countries. You can not make up a degree in New Zealand by just picking random stuff that sounds cool instead you get many choices but they must lead to a degree that is useful to employers and stands you in good stead for future postgrad study. UC biological science school is the best in the country (this is not only my view a recent review by government indicates it is the best). Take the challenge ... do more.....see more.... and later on you can earn more and do useful stuff for society. Best place to study. Great atmosphere, well equipped laboratories and people are very welcoming, helping and Friendly.Students will find everything they need on campus, including four different libraries, a state-of-the-art fitness facility called the RecCentre, art galleries and a number of different bars and restaurants. The institution has been awarded with a 5-star ranking for research and teaching by the QS World University Ranking... indeed.!!! . It is based on New Zealand’s beautiful South Island, there is lots for students to do outside of lectures. Everyone, party going on Ilam Fields tonight - Sat 12/3/22 this one is better than last week. Happy smiling police and security guards talking with party goers. Such a lovely atmosphere and the security have turned the flood lights off. Its a really nice intimate feel tonight. Such a magical place to binge drink, break the law on covid gatherings. Oh beautiful covid lets share it free love style.
