The Foundry — Restaurant in Christchurch

It does a terrible job of trying to be a student bar. How can you have a bar located right next to all of the university residencies and it be dead on a saturday night unless there is an event running. If students actually want to catch a 15 dollar uber drive to town and back to go to another bar instead of walking for two minuits to the foundry then the foundry by consensus must be terrible. The only time ive seen this bar pumping on thursday, one of the top drinking nights is after pokemon go came out and they were using the lure at the foundry. I had a few to drink for the blindspott concert last night but wasn’t too bad that I was making a fool myself or annoying others didn’t even trip or fall over bump into anyone but I got kicked out before the concert even started. Was very annoyed because I paid $100 for this concert and didn’t even get a choice to go for a walk too sober up before coming back didn’t get any water. Didn’t get told I’m not allowed to drink until they kicked me out. Seriously if I was so bad why did you serve me still? alright food for what you can around uni, cool area, but the service was pretty foul, the waitress didn't ask if I wanted it take it our or dine in, so my foods ready and I request to get it take away and I notice how she rolls her eyes at me, she goes to the kitchen and comes back and starts whispering to her colleague and I hear the guy she was talking to say "Just say the take away boxes are 50 cents" and she comes up-to me says that, I said its fine ill pay 50 cents and she rolls her eyes again and goes to the kitchen.
