Well, if you’re looking for an unforgettable experience, this place really delivers. We pulled up to the drive-thru, excited to try one of their advertised burgers, only to be informed that parts of the menu were... unavailable. Funny, I didn’t see that little nugget of information anywhere on the menu. Guess I must’ve missed the “Items may randomly disappear” disclaimer.

The Korean Chicken Burger, a key item they’ve been promoting like it’s a culinary masterpiece? Yeah, not today. Gone. Maybe it’s just on an extended vacation, who knows?

As for customer service, well, let’s just say the enthusiasm was... impressive—if you’re into robotic monotony. No suggestions, no alternatives, just a “Sorry, we don’t have that.” It’s almost as if I was expecting a little more than basic effort, but perhaps that’s a bit much for a drive-thru.

Looking at other reviews, it seems like this place is consistently setting the bar low for service, and I can only imagine that the manager is proud of this “excellence.” I’d recommend they reconsider their approach, but hey,...

With out a doubt the worst BK in Chch, I stayed at the near by caravan park and with in a 3 week period, their drinks machine broke down, swapping out a mini water for the drink still at full price, their drive through was down twice and was made to go in store to order, they are constantly "selling out" of both the rebel patty and rebel chicken if it's within half an hour of closing. Also twice I have not recieved my full order and the staff are rude when I had to go inside to collect my full order. Also I've been made to wait over then 20 minutes for a meal, and that doesn't include the drive through que. I am a very very regular BK customer due to the rebel range but due to my experiences at this particular location I have decided that it is time to find another regular food joint. If you do want bk. Unfortunately Sawyer's bk failed me again!! Christmas eve we came in to grab dinner to expect open doors but it wa locked. It was advertised outside their sliding door that it was open till 10. Dine in till 10. However, the duty manager said that the head office told her to close at 9 and leave drive through open till 10. She handled the situation poorly by raising her voice and telling us we were wrong! We waited for 5-8 minutes till one of their staff (not manager) approached us, spoke to us and handled the situation. After a few seconds of speaking to the staff, the store manager walked past us to go outside and check the advertised time next to the sliding door.
