Cafe Mosaic — Restaurant in Christchurch

Ive been going here for year's, weekly...but for some reason over the last 2 months, the ice chocolates are now like a chocolate milkshake, with very little chocolate syrup around cup, it now overflows when cream is placed on top and is ni longer ice and doesn't give me brain freeze anymore..., one lady seems very stressed and rarely smiles anymore..and seems very rushed and always wiping her dirty fingers on her apron, I even saw her scoop the iceream off the scoop 3 times with her fingers into my drink then wiped her fingers on her apron again..I may still buy an ice chocolate , but not when she's there..saying that everything else is very nice. HOPEFULLY THE ICE CHOCOLATES RETURN BACK TO THE WAY...

To all outside appearances this is a typical suburban shopping mall cafe. The dining experience, however, is on another level. There is a very diverse menu of dishes and a very tempting dessert cabinet. All the food is freshly prepared and arrives in good time. We have dined here for a few years on a regular basis and have sampled most of what's on offer, They're all good. Cafe Mosaic is building its clientele and deservedly so. I had the Chicken Schnitzel special. It was pretty bad. I began eating the chicken realising it was not right. It was like rubber. My friend said not to eat it as she agreed with me. I told the waitress and she passed this on. The chef did not speak to us, rather sat at another table laughing and chatting with others. At times the conversation was pointed at us, while the female continued to remind them to talk quietly. Rather disgusting...
