We have ordered for delivery several times from this place and food so far was good until today when I found a hair in my chicken masala. So disappointing. When I texted the owner saying I didn’t want to bother (since I know he is busy) but just wanted to let him know I had found a hair in my food. To my surprise his response was “-my name-, you already bothered me. Next time I’ll give you extra. You’re the only customer always complaint”. That’s not the way to respond to a loyal customer who used to like your food. Even from another order, you forgot to bring the Naan bread and I never cared to ask for a refund. But today having a hair in my food means the person cooking in this place doesn’t wear a hair net which is unacceptable for a restaurant. Lastly, we as customers have the right to complaint when the food is not ok or in this case, an unpleasant hair is found in the food. After getting his text response I called him and he was so rude on the phone, he just pretended to give me another chicken masala for free as if for sure I wanted it. He even hanged up on me when I told him I was angry when he said I was a complaining customer just by telling him how disappointed I was to find a hair in my food. This is one of the friendliest takeaway spots I’ve been to. The service is always fantastic – the staff are welcoming, polite, and often go the extra mile by offering a free drink or appetizer, which is a really nice touch.

The downside for me is the food itself. The curries are usually very bland, and even when I ask for them hot and spicy, they still come out mild and lacking in flavor. If you’re someone who loves bold, rich spices, you might find the dishes a bit disappointing.
