Disgusting behavior from the staff, heard great reviews from this place, but 2 seconds after entering a drunk woman holding a beer at a table with a bunch of other people asked angrily "how old are you", I responded awkwardly "old enough" as to me she just seems like a nosey customer. She then gets snappy with me saying "well actually I own this bar so show me your ID", 1 you are drunk, 2 you're sitting at a table with other customers, 3 holding a beer in your hand, none of those things gave me the inclination you even worked in the establishment. This made me feel uncomfortable immediately so I stepped out for a moment just to have the woman say " Yeah! bye" while I was walking out. Genuinely disappointed this may have been a place I would have come often as my circle of friends often frequent this place, however based on the behavior I don't believe I will be back. Do better, treat your customers with basic respect, and for the love of God follow the law and don't get drunk while working. As I'm writing this review she's walked out to see a customer off, as she sees me sitting outside she states "oh there's heavy pants", to which I don't reply as that is inappropriate and not deserving of a response, she then says "have you calmed down" strange as I was never angry at any point, also strange as i have worked in a bar myself and never found it appropriate to speak with customers this way. I resonded saying " I've just had a bad day mate" to which she responds " well maybe you shouldn't come to a pub then" my final response was " I came to hang out with some mates to cheer myself up" which you'd think wouldn't be a new concept to someone who owns a bar, she continued to walk inside muttering to herself. Honestly over all weird and uncomfortable experience. This is not how you treat people, ESPECIALLY customers in your establishment. I find inappropriate and disturbing you were serving drinks to clearly intoxicated customers to the point a man almost face planted walking to his car that he proceeded to drive off in. I assume you also drove home from work drunk....

A nice cosy corner bar with excellent service, and amazing food. Went today with a group of 5, pleasantly greeted with menus as we all wanted somewhere close to my mates but not crazy busy.
