Very clean and tidy, Hygiene levels appeared very good. All the unused tables (& even the seating) were spotless. The Ordering counter & serving counter areas both looked extremely clean. Everything that is within customers visability range, EG' FROM EVERYTHING WITHIN SIGHT VISUALLY WHAT CUSTOMERS MIGHT POSSIBLY SEE, for example; Behind the order & payment counters, under & around tills (including till surfaces & buttons) staff service areas, drinks machines, food preparation & cooking surfaces, pickup order bench surfaces, all very cleam & hygenic. RECENTLY I WAS AT THE LINWOOD MALL MCDONALD'S FOR 45MINS-1 HOUR. I was there DURING THEIR DAILY RUSH OF THE MOST BUSIEST TIME BETWEEN 5-7 PM IS THEIR RUSH PERIOD THEY INFORMED ME, there were 4 lines all 5-8 Customers in each line, 65% of their dining areas were occupied (OFF & ON BETWEEN CUSTOMER CHANGES) AMD THE DRIVE-THRU HAD A RATHER LONG LINEUP, BUT STILL DURING ALL THIS THEIR ORDER PROCESSING, AND SERVING TIMES WERE STILL Short, at most a 4-8 minute wait for order to arrive, but while I was There (for between 1hour to 1&œ hours) I was dining in & using their FREE WI-FI AVAILABLE TO CUSTOMERS. During the whole time I was there. I noticed quite a few things actually. I NOTICED THAT. Whenever anyone finished their food & had Actually left, Of all recently vacated tables (& ALSO SEATING) they were CLEARED, WIPED, CLEANED, and swept around, within the following times. Of the Recently vacated tables at least 55-65% were seen to Within 2-5 minutes 65-80% within 6-8 minutes 80-90% within 8-10 minutes The last 10% still done in under 15 minutes. All the floors were Clean (including along edges of walls and in corners) I never seen any Workers that were idle for anything more than 1-2 mins. Generally whenever not actually busy, any idle workers could be seen cleaning surfaces, wiping benches etc, sweeping &/or moping, tidying dining areas etc (instead of just standing around doing nothing, like I've seen at many other McDonald's places around...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I visited this branch today for lunch, and it was a letdown from the moment we walked in. The windows and door handles were covered in dirty, greasy marks, and looking back, we regret not leaving then. When we began to order our food, we realised we couldnât use table service, as all the table numbers appeared to have been removed. To make matters worse, the hand sanitiser dispensers were empty.
While my boyfriend waited for the food, I went to the toilet. As I was washing my hands, a staff member wearing a red top walked out of a cubicle without washing her hands. The toilets themselves looked neglected and unclean, which is an immediate red flag for a poorly managed eatery.
The order machine didnât print a receipt, so we had no idea which order was ours. Fortunately, it was relatively quiet. I asked a staff member to confirm our order, and she clearly brought a bad attitude to work that dayâshe pointed at the stapled receipt on the brown paper bag, turned her back, and walked off without saying a word.
There were limited places to sit, as a group of kids had taken over a large section of the restaurant despite not having any food or drinks.
The food itself was average. I had one tiny pickle in my quarter pounder, and my boyfriendâs cheeseburger resembled a pancake. There were no serviettes included with our order, and none to be found in the restaurant. No spoon was provided for my Biscoff milkshake, and there was more ice than Coca-Cola in our drinks.
That said, the male barista was genuinely helpful and friendly when I asked for the missing items. His positive attitude was one of the few redeeming aspects...
Read moreAt first I thought it was closed as all the lights seemed to off, but its just a naturally dark dingy place with bad lighting. I ordered from the one of the self serve machines, but it seems they all give customers the wrong order numbers, not that matters as it only shown briefly on screen as they don't print receipts. I like having my receipt when I go to McDonalds, makes life easier when they mess your up, which they did. By the time I sat down there only 5people in the store, and maybe 2 cars in the drive throu, so having three staff talking behind the counter wouldn't be so back as they were quiet. Except I watched older lady stand at the counter for at least 3mins before anyone acknowledged that she was there. In this time staff had walked in front of her at least 3times, so no excuse. And top everything off the place looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. I changed my mind about which table to sit at a few times before sitting because how messy they were, and I finally did sit down I realised there was a tray jammed under the table. As I said earlier, they weren't busy and some staff were just standing around talking, so its not like they couldn't at least wipe the tables.
I never expect a great experience inside McDonald's, but this store is the worst I've...
