NORI TABLE - The Tannery — Restaurant in Christchurch

What a deception! There was a hair on a sushi, I told the person at the counter and she just pulled the hair out and kept the sushi like nothing happened. Certainly that someone else bought this sushi at some point! She did not smile either. Actually, no one is really smiling there and you do not really feel welcomed.

You have to use the same tool to pick your food. It’s a good idea not to share the same one with strangers, but since the food can touch other pieces, it's actually pretty risky if you have allergies. Definitely not...

So. Freaking. Good. Best sushi I have had in Christchurch in my 13+ years of living here. Down towards the end of the main building at the Tannery, Nori Table offers a great selection of sushi from their cabinet - it's predominantly a select your own kinda place. But they have a small menu too, which looks like it changes often. You have to try their tempura salmon sushi, and the mini chicken yakitori bamboo skewers are amazing....

I went to Nori sushi for my lunch break a couple of weeks ago and I loved it!! The service provided by the tall lady at the counter was great, she was lovely, polite and patience despite the difficulty with communications due to the use of this tiring masks we all have to use. The food was very enjoyable and I liked the atmosphere, I recommend Nori sushi to anyone that likes to have good experiences for lunch :D...
