Lovely items and displays however very disappointed today with the service - it was a different woman compared to my many visits before, and previously the woman (apologies I forget her name) had always been so friendly and lovely to my daughter and it made me happy to make a purchase. Today - the exact opposite, my daughter was holding a couple of -non-delicate- items and when I went to buy something else and I was asked if we were buying what my daughter was holding and I said no, this woman snatched them from my daughter and put them back. No kind or gentle words and it made my daughter quietly upset. I decided against my other purchase. I mostly buy at HAPA in the city (close to work), and loved to support the store for all the local design but I’ll be thinking twice in future, especially if I come across that particular woman again. Read moreSuch a fantastic shop with SO much stuff! I went to Hapa to find something for Mum for her birthday, having no real idea, and ended up spoilt for choice. And with Christmas coming up, Hapa is definitely a great place to find gifts for everyone, not just Mums! They have a real focus on stocking locally made products, and brands from all over New Zealand. Did I mention Hapa has a massive range of gifts? And such variety!
