We ordered off Ocean Freah Seafoods website, 2x fisherman's basket, 2x hotdogs and a pineapple ring which on the menu cost a total of $34.30

When we arrived we were told that it was $52. We showed him the menu showing him the prices and he said that this menus prices were old prices and had changed 8 years ago?????

We said well you cant charge a different price to that stated on your menu and he replied with "you should always ask how much it is before you order". We said why would we do that when your website stipulates the exact price? We dont ask the price everytime we order off the menu at a restaurant because we assume that that's the price.

Absolutely ridiculous why would you not take that menu down if its 8 years old and the prices have doubled. The owner had no remorse and didnt want a bar of it, so we ended up paying 52 dollars for our Friday night fish and chips.

One of the more disappointing food experiences. Firstly, overcharged badly. Website showed $14 but then they charged $22 after not telling us the price and became rather hostile when we questioned the pricing. Secondly the state of fryers was horrific, covered in fat and grease with multiple cans around the place to catch dripping fat. Flies were almost running the show considering how many there were. Unfriendly service, the bloke wouldn’t give us the time of day but it doesn’t stop there. Food was well below par. Squid rings were as chewy as Firestone tyre. Chips were a soggy mess. Won't be back, these owners are far too casual about their customers,,,, they were all eating out the back when i placed my order, perhaps that explains the lack of interest in producing an eatable burger.

Owner needs to find a bun that stays together, stop cutting costs would be my suggestion. Very dissapointed waste of , money ... better places out there..... shop needs a good...
