Shake Shed & Co — Restaurant in Christchurch

18/11/2018 - this used to be Wendy's Supa Sundaes before they changed to the current name. Most Wendy's stores have closed down and this is one of two (the other one is in Bush Inn mall) left in Christchurch (I think, I could be wrong in the actual number 🤔).

It is situated near the main entrance of Barrington mall and is highly visible. They sell different flavored ice creams 🍦🍧🍨 and also drinks such as thick shakes (yummy 😋).

As it was a hot day, me and the kids were deciding on what to order. We ended up with a few single scoop ice creams and a thick shake. I ordered a large butterscotch flavoured thick shake and it was delicious. It was cold and quite a thick texture (which I enjoyed very much sucking it 😄).

There are plenty of car parks 🅿 onsite.

They accept cash and EFTPOS payments, and they don't accept credit cards (Paywave is not available), for those who want to know.

Friendly staff.

Would I go back? Maybe 😏. Only during a hot day. Would I recommend? Yes 😊

Ice cream was good but staff was rude…this is the second time….noted this on my visit, but assumed it should be because of the busy schedule, but today we were the only customers, and noted an even worse response. Really surprised that the staff was not patient enough to wait for the order or explain...

Wendy's hotdogs used to be delicious and covered in cheese. This new place puts absolutely no cheese or butter on their hotdogs, also they just microwave the sausage to heat it up instead of boiling it. So disappointing. I've been overseas for 5 years, came back craving a Wendy's hotdog and got...
