By far the poorest Indian restaurant I've tried in Christchurch. Indian Bites severely underdelivers on all fronts. The butter chicken was shockingly bland—watery, flavourless, and missing any hint of the rich, spiced depth you'd expect. It tasted like a mass-produced mall curry aimed at people who’ve never experienced real Indian food.
The naan bread was just as bad—dry, tasteless, and with a cardboard-like texture. Absolutely no authentic flavour or care in preparation.

The food was really nice (Rogan Josh and Butter Chicken were both fantastic, the Bhuna was just okay), and our food was ready quickly.
If you order in-person or over the phone, it's also very reasonably priced and great value.
Whoever does their online order system is predatory as hell though. Regular price for our order was $80.50. Ordering the same food online would have cost $137.80 instead.
That's more than a 71% markup for the privilege of ordering a pick-up order online (assume it would have been more if I needed delivery).
