Wendy's Hamburgers — Restaurant in Christchurch

About 15 years ago I swear I received a takeaway meal from a competitor, so bad I knew it could never be topped. That was until today! We’ll start with being overcharged $2 for the on-sale combo. Didn’t realise until I’d left. Two burgers were both cold, stale, dry thin patty and could not be consumed. Fries looked and tasted as though they only looked at the fryer but were not allowed to swim. The Coke, even though flat (as usual for takeaways) was by far the only part of the meal able to be consumed. Not sure if the Health inspector has visited this place recently but there is no way serving cold stale food would pass. So, theft and horrific food. I’ve had 45 years of takeaways, Wendy’s Hornby by far the worst ‘meal’ ever purchased. P.S. My dog usually hounds me for a chip or piece of meat when I get takeaways. First and final Wendy visit. Such a huge disappointment. Menu is confusing ordered loaded fries with guacamole crunch bowl...received nachos with mince and guacamole... No such thing as loaded fries with guacamole. The crunch bowl is nachos not impressed the a vegetarian guest Iwas dining with. Burger was slapped together. Oozing with the overloaded sauce and fell apart once unwrapped. Chicken breast was a small chicken patty half the bun size bacon was a shaved rasher barely noticeable. Staff were NOT friendly. They looked very bothered by doing their job or having to speak to customers. Did not explain what the scale meant on the loaded fries. In fact - they seemed unwilling to explain any of the offers. Food was bland, tasteless and seemed old. "Eat fresh"? Try Eat Pish! Very low quality food from our first and last experience at this location. Have to go back to the states for fresh food and staff that doesn't look like someone shat in their cereal.
