Great authentic New York pizza ... But we would LOVE a gluten free option. I know they say NO we won't and NO we can't ... but Hell's Pizza can do it, so Sal's can do it too! The seed base at Hell's is fantastic. Just advertise a disclaimer it is GF but not certified for people who suffer from celiac disease, as there are gluten based flours in the store. At the moment I have to go to both places when we have pizza.

Lots of parking in the centre. Easy stair access to the restaurant. Indoor seating, a mix of booths and tables. Clean store with lots of floor space. HUGE pizzas!!! Can purchase by slice, half or whole. Easy to do half and half with no extra charge. Variety of traditional toppings, vegan and vegetarian toppings on a thin pizza base, using their own sauce base. Very friendly and helpful staff. 2 staff worked very well to serve all walk ins, dine ins, online orders and deliveries. Sals Pizza in Pukekohe is Outstanding.. The Pizzas would definitely make NY proud.. not only are the ingredients top quality.. each slice is a two-handed affair.. One pizza is big enough to feed 3 Adults.. and that includes one of them being a 6ft teenage boy!!.. If you pair that with a Ben and Gerrys Ice-cream.. it certainly makes for a Wonderful Treat.. but don't expect to much ice-cream.. especially of such a delicious calibre when you have a hungry Teenager afoot!!..
