L.K. Coffee Hub — Restaurant in Hamilton

I’ve been here about 5 times and every time I’ve noticed that when I arrive nobody acknowledges me ever and then I have to wait a long time to be served. Twice I have had a wrong order and today it took the cake. Dangerous even. I was served a normal toasted sandwich when I had ordered a gluten free one. Luckily I queried it as it was placed in front of me and the waitress took it away immediately saying she cd also see that it was not gf bread. The service us do slow there anyway I knew I now had a long wait. After 14 minutes and mypartner finishing her salad I got up to ask where my new sandwich was and the always slack cook was so busy chatting up a young man she obviously was not so interested in getting my food to me quickly. Wow! We stopped to have a sneaky lunch before heading in to Hamilton. This was not the place we stopped in for but the sushi shop was closed. The 3 staff members we dealt with (polite gentle young European gentlemen, bubbly informative young European lady & the cool, friendly young Asian gentleman) were an awesome bunch of staff who delivered a very friendly, calming lunch experience. The food was delicious and very filling. Thanks team, we'll highly recommend your place. PS. Please be kind and have your vaccine pass handy so the staff don't need to ask, they're only doing their job. There are seats outside for those who are not vaccinated, please don't make...

Bit of a letdown Dropped in around 3:20pm to grab a coffee - at the time, Google said they closed at 4. There were two staff at the till, but neither looked up or said anything, not even a quick “Hey, we’re closing soon, sorry!” I totally get it if they were wrapping up for the day or the machines were already cleaned, but it felt pretty rude to just be ignored. I see the closing time is now listed as 3:30, so that makes more sense, but a little communication would’ve gone a long way instead of having being stood there for a while waiting for them to finish talking and then eventually leaving to the Z for a coffee instead.
