The Hillcrest Tavern — Restaurant in Hamilton

This is my local and I've supported this venue along with its sister venue "eastside" for over 6 years now. Today I got discriminated against for having a mask exception by a staff member who is not a medial professional and should not be offering medial advise, whom was also wearing a mask with so much gaps around the edges a bee could fly into her mouth.

Why can other venues operate with zero rules in place while you guys are still pushing the fear?? There is nothing to be scared of..... (except maybe unruly mps)

Its time we forget about the "invisible boogie man" of the main stream media and get on...

I really enjoyed the corn Nuggets they were amazing, unfortunately I didn't like Tara's service as I found her rude, judgemental and in a hurry to close. I had spent hours there a went to my car to relax when I found i needed to use the bathroom my husband let me in and I told her I just needed to use the bathroom and she said still you can't just do that. We also drove a drunk guy home and she still judged us for that. I really dislike this kind of treatment we were honest...

Had been twice before for the quiz night and never been ID checked. Went in tonight, within five minutes my husband and I were asked for ID. We had not tried to order or anything yet! Husband showed his, I said I had forgotten mine but I could show a photo of my passport. They said they couldn’t allow photos and we were asked to leave.
