We family of 4 people went to buy vehicle from Taupō to Hamilton and we decided to break for lunch. We read such fabulous 5-star reviews that we thought we would try the Welcome Indian Takeaway Restaurant — and it did not fail us at all!
The food was just amazing. For having traveled so far, each of the meals that we had ordered was just full of real flavor — in all seriousness, it was some of the finest Indian food we'd ever had in our whole lives. Nicely prepared, beautifully spiced, totally unforgettable and price is so reasonable which anyone can effort compare to others restaurants.
The food was equally impressive. The staff were welcoming, polite. Special mention to Bikash for excellent hospitality service — he made us feel so welcome and proved his excellent hospitality service.

The food was great as always but the service was so poor I go to order my food and there were to people standing in the shop waiting for there Order no masks on nice Indian couple I place my order and walked out the shop.the couple that were waiting for there got Order and left so I went in and just waited. As always, the best place with the best Butter Chicken ever. I'm a picky eater, and have found this place to be the best in Hamilton 👌. We have ordered so many time's, beautiful atmosphere and always smiling with a warm greeting, when ordering in the restaurant. AAA+, highly recommend this place to everyone that's after a delicious meal. Pickup, delivery and eat in options available.
