⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Halal Cafe with Great Vibes!

I recently visited The District Cafe in Te Rapa and was thoroughly impressed! As a halal eatery, it offers a fantastic selection of delicious and high-quality meals, making it a great spot for Muslim diners and anyone looking for tasty, ethically prepared food.

The menu has a wonderful variety—from hearty breakfast options to flavorful lunch dishes and now they have dinner menu.

The coffee was also excellent, smooth and rich, just the way my wife like it.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with friendly staff who provide excellent service. The cafe is clean, well-presented, and has a relaxed vibe, making it perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a meal with family.

If you're in Waikato and looking for a halal-certified cafe with great food and service, The District Cafe is a must-visit! I’ll definitely be back (God will).

Friendly staff and hospitality. Probably need to hire better cooks though. 2x Sirloin and chips, requested medium rare - we got well cooked. Tiniest pieces of steaks. Only comes with chips, the chips were spread out across the plate to make it look full. Came with a pepper sauce, which was oddly sweet and didn’t have enough pepper to actually call it a pepper sauce. Pan fried fish - half the plate was covered in salad, a quarter fish and a quarter rice. Should be renamed as salad with a side of fish. Bland salad* I mean. No dressing whatsoever or flavour. Fish was dry and over cooked. Fish burger - tartare sauce was good. Fish was also over cooked and dry. Big breakfast - so stinge with the portions. 1 sausage, 1 tomato slice. Meh. Overpriced for what the quality and portions of the dishes. Would only recommend if you have a bland...

Went there for breakfast. There wasnt much to choose from which was quite disappointing. There was only 5 options available which was shown by the one behind the counter so didnt feel like you had much choice. Also thought I would look up the website as advised and their all day menu only showed the 5 items so I think you should update it as well as let your staff know to show the other pages or the daily specials you have. The service was great but for a cafe close to businesses if you want people to come for breakfast I suggest you make it more appealing instead of just being a place to stop and have coffee or pick up a coffee order because to be honest that is what I saw happening...
