Burger Wisconsin — Restaurant in Hawke's Bay

After having burgers from this restaurant every month, and loving them. Tonight was frigin terrible. Husband gets the spicy satay chicken every time. Tonight he took one bite, straight to bathroom. Being violently sick. Called the restaurant straight away to let them know the spices in the satay was way too hot, mainly to ensure other customers weren't getting the same. I tried it too, and I like hot, this was another level! Response- we don't know your husband's tolerance to spices. Ffs. I do and he's now skulling milk from the fridge. Tried to help them, then the manager said he tried the sauce (apparently).... basically told we were liars. You've lost a very regular customer from your inability to make things right and lack of compassion... husbands still struggling, and refuses to shop there ever again. Terrible...

Possibly the worst burger/fry combination I've ever had. Would not recommend.

The kumara fries were terribly soggy. All of them were drenched in oil and soft. The blue cheese sauce filled up 1/8th of the container, and it was extremely watery with lumpy bits in it (I assume blue cheese). I've attached a photo for reference of exactly how much sauce they gave me.

Burger patty was absolutely tiny I had to open up the burger and check if there was even a patty in there.

Apart from the miniature patty, the burger tasted ok, but the fries and sauce were inedible.

EXTREMELY disappointed :( I don't like writing negative feedback unless it is truly deserved. Terrible experience with Burger Wisconsin, Havelock North last night. First of all, hugely appauled by the dirtiness of restaurant. However, hubby loves these burgers so on we went. Seeing people handling people with no gloves was a little off putting but worst of all, the burgers were only luke warm. I don't mind how much I pay for a meal at a restaurant but I believe I pay for the overall experience, and unfortunately we were let down on all levels.
