Khawhom Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Henderson-Massey

Ordered takeaway on a friday. No pics as the food we ate didnt desrve any pics but my writing is descriptive so here goes. Ordered 3 dishes all accompanied with rice.

Chicken massaman - Meat and veg was cooked okay. this dish lacked cream/ coconut milk and flavor . the gravy was watery and i think this dish would be enjoyed by middle aged/ semi retired people who cant handle flavor, basically a great dish but made for people with bland tastebuds. wouldnt order this again from here. again. potatoes and carrots were half cooked and raw. im guessing they added the veges late and didnt let it cook long enough.

Sweet n sour pork - another mediocre dish. All sweet and not enough sour. i feel like the way they cooked the dish and in the order they cooked it in ruined the dish. veges undercooked, ate 2 servings and gave the rest to the food processor..

Lamb in chilli sauce/oil - probably the only okay dish. meat was cooked, veges undercooked.

i think these guys cook to their crowd which is middle aged /semi retired people who dont like flavour and enjoy bland food.

if you want proper thai food, better go to the thai on lincoln road. by the texas chicken. thai food is a treat and experience and these guys were a let down. i wont be...

Quite frankly my first visit to this restaurant made me feel like "Daym, what a place". It was an amazing experience infact it made me go there over and over again with my folks. I have since been their 4 or 5 times before my bad experience today and each time I have spent well over 300.00. I was extremely disappointed today given the food had baby corns which was off to the point it had a very bad smell to it. I took them out and ate the rest of the food and In good gesture I let the staff know of this. They took that back and returned to say it wasn't off. The manager did not want to admit that the corns were off despite the fact that I wasn't asking for any discount and was still prepared to pay the full price. This is my last visit to this restaurant and they are losing local business only because they weren't honest enough to admit that the baby...

The food is always delicious. And I love this place. I did an online order and paid through their website. Unfortunately i didnt realise until i got home that they missed 1 othe 2 portion of sticky rice i ordered and a side of rice that went with my massaman beef curry. I paid the extra 2 dollars. I am very sick and it took alot of energy to come in and pick it up. So i was pissed off. I rang in and i was unreasonably angry about having to come back and pick it up. So i didnt. I want to apologize to the girl i spoke too fir being angry at her for the chefs incompetence. Please make sure customers have everything. Its annoying but didnt justify how annoyed i actually was.
