Little Local Long Bay — Restaurant in Hibiscus and Bays

DO NOT order a coffee during the Long Bay Markets or you will be left waiting nearly 30mins for your drink. With two baristas, a server and another person on food (4 staff total) this was the slowest service I’ve experience for a ‘hole in the wall’ type hospo business. We chose to go there thinking it was good by the number of people, only to realise that’s all the people waiting for their drinks. The server was also too quiet when calling out orders so several drinks just sat on the side. When we finally got our drinks mine was nice but warm. Disappointed that the drink couldn’t make up for the poor service. And before the owner replies (because I saw their reply to another review) I’ve managed and worked in multiple different hospo businesses in my work life so I do feel confident to comment on the poor service...

What a rude man working there. Goodness! It was freezing cold and windy when I ordered my coffee so stepped inside to get out of the cold. Several minutes later the man spoke to me like I was a small child and very rudely told me to move because I was in his way. There was plenty of room for him to get past me. Visited on at least five separate occasions. Made return trips to support a Long Bay business and particularly because hospo has been doing it tough through covid. Always felt like I was an intrusion and the guy behind the counter was always very keen to put payments though the register whilst leaving customers waiting on their orders. Made the mistake one time by suggesting he finish other customers orders before taking my money. Got my head bitten off. Now all of my business is done around the corner. A smile...
