Ridge Park — Attraction in Hibiscus and Bays

One of our regular haunts at the moment with a mix of easy to challenging activities for toddlers. The swings have no harness so not suitable for younger toddlers but the slides are safe and interesting, with an excellent hill to climb to get up there, complete with climbing-wall holds to assist little feet and hands. There's a waterfall feature which can be fun if you can be bothered spending the time to fill up the reservoir. The wooden beams and stepping poles appear to be surprisingly enjoyable. Nice new park in Long Bay, Auckland. Fabulous sea views from the end of the walkway. Playground has fenced area for the little ones and a few obstacle areas and activities outside for 4-8 year olds. Park is okay - the toddler area has swings that are too big and don’t have the safety belt. The slide is on the little hill Which is a little hard for kids to climb. Probably a better playground for older kids around 5+ not bad just not amazing either. The other sad part is the bike pump...
