Thai'd Up — Restaurant in Hibiscus and Bays

Tonight my curry had a piece of steelo in it, we called over a waitress who took it but didnt acknowledge it at all. almost 10 min later I had to request a replacement meal, I had to get this as take away as by this time my family had finished their meals. Once home i noticed that it was not the same meal thai hot. so I called to let them know, I was dismissed with saying they had put in their special chilli, however it was pretty much just coconut milk. I asked for a refund & It was assumed that i had already eaten the meal, i said i hadn't and would bring it back. The tone changed and i was reluctantly asked for my bank account details so they could transfer it at the bank tomorrow. Not a single sorry for the inconvenience, was more like i had inconvenienced...

Have been here twice only and both times have been the same. Great food and the owner is very friendly but she has waitresses that are not experienced in there work. It is byo and they don't bring over wine glasses unless you ask. They stand behind the counter on there phones with there drink bottles not even looking at the table for serving. Sat chatting and nobody collected our plates or glasses then finally the owner did. Please get different staff 🙏 or you will not have any customers. Almost gave them a 1 star. The prices are quite decent, food was ok. But the takeaway service was shocking. They gave the wrong food which I phoned about it once I realized it, they just said I have to bring it back. No apologies, that was my option. I wasn't able to go back (it was after kids bedtime), so they said the other option is to bring it in a box the next day... so that option would leave me without dinner.
