Honestly, this is a hidden gem in Pakuranga that I’ve somehow never discovered since now (I’ve lived here for like 8 years…)

Got the combo and wow is it worth it

The charcoal spicy chicken burgers were delicious, the bread had a hint of sweetness and chicken was crispy. Just amazing!! Only thing I disliked was the chicken, lacked a little bit of salt or maybe even sugar (the spice mostly just covered everything so maybe without spice it’s perfect? But that means giving up the spice 😂)

The Kimchi rice balls were delicious too, crispy and soft on the inside. This one scores a bit lower because of the kimchi, wish there was more or like a small clump in the middle (there was like 2 pieces sticking out on the side), also it is sour (probably aged for a long time (kimchi), not really spicy. Personally prefer sweeter more crunchy Kimchi, but if sour and soft is your favourite then go for it. Regular size is big enough, definitely over ordered. (Good, but too much food!)

Drink was pretty cheap and the combo came with a LOT of fries (like 2x large McDonald fries 😂), not a fan of shoe string fries but they were crispy and lightly salted (I had chip salt at home so it was fine. If you like lightly salted then it’s perfect)

Got to show this place more love, it’s a bit difficult to get in as it’s a left turn off a busy road and likely to be missed. Took a while of searching on google search (if you don’t know the name). Would try other stuff next time!!

BEST SPICY BURGER EVER!! I’ll definitely be back. Nice people, lovely place. We got stuck in traffic 1-3 hours just to go here 😂 and let me tell you definitely was worth it. We got the spicy chicken baoger and OH MY GOD first byte was HEAVEN you even get a BIG piece of chicken (cos bigger is better, chicken strips lose) also had good amount of spice and sauce but as you finish it the spicy mouth goes away so it’s not (assburning hot) (could you send me the recipe for the sauce)🙏🏽 We also got two sides of chicken it was good, one flavour had wasabi in it and think the other one had satay (can’t remember) came with two sauces one red which was alright nice and different taste. The white creamy sauce ummm not sure whats going on here it tasted chemically just yuck wouldn’t recommend, that’s just my opinion. But overall best burger (get rid of kfc,mds) ever we’ll back to try the other burgers and tacos. Feel bad to write this honest review. Lovely owner as you can tell he’s working hard in the kitchen by himself when we visited. Prices are reasonable by Auckland standard. I was disappointed as the chicken lacked a lot of flavours, the sauce and the sprinkle didn’t go well with the meat, the topping sesame seeds are store bought no taste. I’d have toasted sesame seeds myself at home in comercial kitchen not feasible but can be done every couple of days. Chicken itself was juicy, can tell it’s been marinated, ginger flavour too overpowering. I had 2 pieces couldn’t finish the box. Sadly won’t...
