BurgerFuel Pakuranga — Restaurant in Howick

So I had a bad experience at the Albany branch where service was just utterly rude which left me not wanting to return to Burger Fuel however when I saw the 2 for 1 promotion at the Pakuranga store, I thought what the hell, I'd put up with bad service if I get a free burger but to my surprise, I was served with exceptional service by a lovely Indian guy who's name started with an 'H'. Though it was really busy and the wait was quite long (which was expected), he made it bearable by firstly thanking me for being patient. He happily took my order and even up sold me cheese in my Ford Freakout - which I had thought about but forgot to ask for so it was great 'Reminder Up-Sell' lol. It must have been an extremely busy day for the Pakuranga Team but the customer service was amazing and their energy levels were on point. Well done to them for smashing it! They all deserve a pay rise. I had an all-round great customer experience then topping it off getting home with delicious quality food and having the extra aioli sauce I had asked for (which Albany forgot to put in, that I paid $1.00 for and didn't realise till I got home zzzz). Oooooh I can't believe it! Amaaaazing...

Ordered 4 burgers for contactless pickup. 3 of the burgers were for gluten allergy meals and ordered as such. Either the food is not gluten free, or there is cross contamination, but at least one of our family is currently suffering. [Edit - we have reviewed the meal and think that the GF bun was given to the non-GF member of the family and the sick person received a normal bun]

If you are coeliac, I would not recommend getting GF food from here. They cannot be trusted.

[Edit 2 - BurgerFuel contacted us and advised us of the investigation they undertook to find out what happened. They also advised of a complete nationwide staff training exercise they are doing to remind ALL staff of teh importance of handling allergies correctly. While this won't make us go back, I do have confidence that they took this seriously and want to correct process issues. Hats off...

Grabbed some dinner at burger fuel pakuranga before heading to a movie. My partner and I both ordered the bacon bbq roadster and kumara fries each. We recieved our order fresh, hot and delicious as always and decided to eat in. You can taste the quality in burger fuels burgers for sure! And doofers just have to be the most genius burger invention on the planet! No waste, no mess. I struggled to finish my meal, given the fact that burger fuels burgers are gigantic and full of flavour (the way a burger should be) but my momma didnt raise no quitter 🙅‍♀️ I finished the burger and kumara chips like a champ! 💪And though I felt terribly bloated, I had no regrets whatsoever. And proceeded to have ice cream and popcorn at the movies 😂 5 out of 5 stars! (Only downside was the store was uncomfortably hot, perhaps the air conditioning was faulty? Made it a bit...
