Kingston Noodles 軒成麵家 is a charming little restaurant tucked away in the heart of the city, offering a delightful culinary experience for noodle enthusiasts. Having recently dined at this establishment, I was impressed by the overall quality of the food, ambiance, and service.
Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior is tastefully decorated, with a blend of modern and traditional elements. The comfortable seating and dim lighting create a cozy ambiance that is perfect for a casual meal or an intimate gathering.
The menu at Kingston Noodles is focused on a variety of noodle dishes, and it does not disappoint. The extensive selection offers options for every palate, from traditional Cantonese-style noodles to fusion creations with a modern twist. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the signature Kingston Beef Noodles. The beef was tender and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the rich broth and springy noodles. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes.
The restaurant also caters to dietary preferences and offers vegetarian and gluten-free options, ensuring that all guests can find something to satisfy their cravings. The portion sizes were generous, providing excellent value for money.
The service at Kingston Noodles was attentive and friendly. The staff members were knowledgeable about the menu and provided helpful recommendations. However, during peak hours, the wait times can be a bit long, so it's advisable to make a reservation or plan accordingly.
One aspect that could be improved is the availability of parking space. Finding parking nearby can be a bit challenging, especially during busy times. However, the overall dining experience made up for this inconvenience.
In conclusion, Kingston Noodles 軒成麵家 is a hidden gem for noodle lovers seeking a memorable dining experience. With its inviting ambiance, delectable noodle dishes, and friendly service, it is a place worth visiting. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor to the city, I highly recommend paying a visit to Kingston Noodles for a flavorful journey...
Read moreWanted to have something warm on a cold night so we came here for soup noodle but they don’t have heater in the restaurant so it was quite cold especially when customers walked in/ leaving. Ordered soup wonton noodle ($10) and beef brisket noodle ($11), they have one of the best egg noodle dish in Auckland. Noodles are chewy and thin, wontons are so big and wrapped with generous ingredients. Milk tea and french toast were just ok, their french toast taste a little bland and dry. This place is a little bit old and you might need to share the long table with others when it gets busy, they only accept cash and bank transfer (no eftpos). Not a fancy place but definitely a place to have a delicious egg noodle that doesn’t hurt your wallet at all.

Read moreHorrible service. We went there at 8pm (they close at 9pm), after our dish is served, the waitress asked us to change table because they want to start cleaning/packing the table we sit. We have to TAKE our dish, our chopsticks, our jackets, move to the table where they haven’t cleaned after previous customer left. We had a go, and that table is dirty, next to the not close-able front door which has cold wind coming through, so we moved back . Waitress then kept coming to our table ask us to move, until we promised to finish noodle within 30 minutes so it will not imply her packing, ridiculous! The whole time, the waitress is rude, cold face and demanding to ask us to change table. Will never come back to this...
