Good authentic Taiwanese food outlet at this location for last 30 years and more. Popular with the community Auckland wide, some customers used to drive from all over Auckland into Meadowlands. Good parking spaces in front and open throughout the day. Friendly services from staff. The reason for 1 star rating is that during the current Covid 19 Level 2, when we were at the restaurant, the 3 metre rules were not observed and not enforded by staff. Also customers were going up to the counter and order and this is a breach of Level 2 rule as the waitress is required to come to tables and take orders. Used to come here long ago, taste is ok. Pretty expensive for what it is, the side veges doesnt do anything for the meal, and meat cutlets are so small. Nothing special on the menu, but parents enjoy coming here once in a while. I'd rather spend the same on a large bowl of pho or something. And recently ordered the shredded chicken rice bowl again. 10 years ago it was really tasty, but this time was disgusting. I used to like very much. But the lady who served me was the worst one in NZ. As I do look asian, I am frequently spoken in Chinese which I don't speak. She looked so annoyed when I started speaking in English to her. Of course no smile at all. She was even annoyed to answer my question about the meal. She was very rough to take the menu and to place the dish on the table. If you speak Chinese, you might have slightly better experience though. Anyway I will never return again.
