Absolutely appalling. I went in today to redeem an offer I was sent on my email for two free cookies. The email said it expires on 8/12/22 (today is 6/12/22). I went in and a young girl scanned my QR code (so it has already been redeemed although I didnât get it đ) and turned to her co-worker (an older Indian woman) who then asked whatâs going on? She said this girl has come in to redeem free cookies, she then took over. I showed her my email to which she says I canât get them because âtodays offer is the footlong sub, not the cookiesâ I tried to calmly explain to her my email clearly says to go in to any subway store and redeem it before 8/12/22. She still says no. The store was quite busy and people began to stare at me as if I was making a scene. I tried one last time to tell her, she then gets angry and pulls up her subway phone and shows me the deals they have on for the week? I said what do I do now, she first said come in on the 8th? I said it expires on the 8th- she then proceeds to tell me it is expired. I donât mean to make a fuss over a couple of cookies, itâs simply the principle. She was so unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. There was no need to speak to me like that. I tried calling the store- no answer. They then put on the salads and they put all of the lettuce on so that they could then refill it meaning that my sandwich was loading with lettuce and basically nothing else. Didn't bother to finish my order and instead went and refilled the lettuce first, talked with coworker and eventually came back. I asked for my barbeque sauce and I only got a few drops essentially. Then they left my sandwich unfinished, filled up some more ingredients that weren't being used and eventually rang up my order. While completing payment the lady asked what I had actually just got her to make, I also had to remind her to include the drink that was directly next to the sandwich. They never spoke unless extremely necessary. Overall an exhausting and terrible service from both of the workers.
