Love their food, they do need to have a larger variety on their menu though it feels like you don't have much options to choose from. The cabinet food is just as good as the cooked food which is a plus, I would recommend to put prices on the cabinet food so people don't have to ask at the counter, one waitress did get my simple order wrong when she asked me what would I like with my Apple rhubarb pie I said yogurt and the other choice was whip cream it came out with the cream instead I didn't take it back since I didn't really mind either way to be honest, also another little thing my food came out before my drink which me working in a restaurant I prefer when my drink comes out before my food and I'm sure many others do. I was going to ask the waitress where my drink was but she was clearing tables outside so I went in and asked who I assume was the chef that I ordered an on a while ago and she apologised for that and continued to pour me my drink. I love this place but changes to certain things would be nice, I work in a large Auckland restaurant and I can still manage to do things a small cafe should find simple when busy or not busy. Also the waiting time for food is a little long. But this place gets my 5 star approval as I love the place like I said room for improvements but still...

This cafe has a fantastic location and outlook. The service, however, is the worst I’ve ever experienced. I literally have never written a google review and our experience prompted me to. My husband and I ordered eggs on toast. They brought them out, and my husband’s eggs were clearly uncooked. Not just runny yolks, but the whites were essentially water. He politely asked the owner to cook them more. The man got angry, refused, told my husband he should have ordered them fried (no one ever gave the option), slammed $15 dollars on the table and locked the door to the restaurant (we had only just gotten our food and there was another table outside still eating). His tantrum was frankly shocking. At least the spot is beautiful. Should have gotten a...

Popped in for dinner and loved it. Clean, tidy and let’s not forget that view! Staff greeted us on arrival and were friendly and polite, service was great and the food was excellent. Not a lot of spice which was ok as at least it didn’t repeat on us but I would have preferred more. A little pricey for what we received but can’t complain.... we went back the next day for breakfast. Again, service and staff were great. Eggs bene was good - not drowned in sauce but the eggs a smidge overcooked so didn’t get the runny yolk thing going. Coffee was good and served in a nice big mug! We would...

The restaurant/cafe has a really nice atmosphere, a large indoor seating area and a balcony to view the ocean on a good day. I didn't try the food as I'm vegan and they had no options. However, they had a couple of gluten free products in the cabinet. I'm sure they would do hot chips? I asked for a large coffee but I'm sure I received a medium as I then witnessed another customer with a larger takeaway cup. The coffee was a bit too hot and tasted slightly burnt so I'm a little disappointed. I have dined here once before and I can say that their Thai food is really good. I did takeaway that time.

After searching reviews, we ignored some poor reviews elsewhere. We had an excellent mean - Thai fishcakes to start were fab and mains of chicken green curry and ginger chicken stir fry hit the spot. Went in early 5:10 so only couple served so were greeted nicely and then severed politely. Great view across the water. No alcohol or BYO made no difference to our experience. Had Thai food in many parts of the works ( including Thailand 🇹🇭) - and giving 5 stars o enough said. Attached photos but won’t do the food or view justice.

What a great little place. It turns up out of the blue in a beautiful place and everything about it was good. Food was great, especially if you like the Thai twist. The lass who served us was lovely and more than a little helpful with my wife’s eclectic tastes. It’s got to be highly recommended.
