Archer Sushi Birkdale — Restaurant in Kaipātiki

I sometimes get takeout from here. Since I usually visit after 3:30 PM, there aren't many items left, but they're usually discounted.

Last time, I went in the morning, which was rare. There were so many varieties, and the sushi looked beautifully decorated.

There were plenty of fried foods and sushi rolls, and a few traditional Japanese sushi options like salmon, shrimp, and egg.

I love the inari sushi topped with mushrooms, and the chili prawns are also a favorite.

There's always a smiling woman at the cashier. With so many options, I'd love to try everything....

Came back to this place after many years it was one of my all time favourites on the Shore. There are new owners now and it’s just okay wouldn’t drive out of my way for this place anymore like I used to. Sushi tented to be on the dryer side chicken was over cooked and rice was dry. The sushi has definitely increased in price but cant blame em too much thats like everywhere else these days. Service was fine and the decor/atmosphere hasnt changed since new owners much. Paid for sushi, asked for wasabi, soy, ginger... the usual stuff any decent place would supply if you buy any sushi. Was told it would cost me extra, I asked why when I had purchased food already, I was given a refund and asked to leave.. absolutely disgusting customer service, would never go again, and would suggest to never try this place. How it has run this long...
