Domino's Pizza Mangere — Restaurant in Māngere-Ōtāhuhu

Every few years, I order from Domino's to see if they've improved. They haven't. The fries were stale, old, brown, and cold. Tasted like freezer burn or staleness. They were even hardened. How can you mess up chips? Chips are so basic. It's funny they put them in a little box that says "Delicious" on it. They are not delicious and they should not have cost $4.80 since they were complete rubbish. I gave them to the human garbage disposal of the house and even he said, "Ew." Frozen chips from the supermarket are way better.

Domino's has the absolute worst pizzas in NZ. Frozen pizza is better than Domino's pizza. The crusts are soggy and taste like saltine crackers, the pizza is just barely there, it's very skimpy and thin. Even after eating a whole "large" pizza, my child was still hungry. It's like sponge textured pizza and has a sour taste. I don't know how they stay in business tbh. Why are people giving them money?

I don't know why it's so bad here. In other countries, Domino's is not this bad. Pizza Hut in Mangere is way better, but like I said, even frozen pizza from Paknsave is better than Domino's pizza. They should be embarrassed imo. I agree with the other reviewer that said they should just close this place down.

On top of all that, it took 56 minutes to deliver. I live 3 mins away. Even tho I ordered thru Uber Eats, Domino's doesn't use Uber delivery drivers, they use their own drivers, and the Uber app will tell you that. There's no option to tip because it's Domino's delivery and they take a $4.95 delivery fee automatically, on top of the service fee. You also can't track a Domino's delivery because it's not an Uber driver. Uber drivers are definitely faster and can also be tracked. I highly recommend ordering Pizza Hut thru Uber...

I ordered Peri-Peri Chicken Pizza , Garlic Bread and Chicken Mega Box for kids when we were in Hotel Quarantine but firstly delivery guy ( VIVEK) took his own time ( 1hr 05 mints) to deliver the food for is 3.4 kilometres distance between store and hotel. All ingredients (Pizza Toppings) are burnt. When I called store and asked about order ( Store Manager) says we are busy so late. When I asked simple plain question like ( Damiano's Pizza Delivery Policy) but he shoots return question what did u order ? and says further will refund $10 and we are very busy so it is late . If they are busy it is not my problem and asked him if I $5 less for pizza will he serve me then he say no. when pizza box opened we found pizza was not sliced at all. All food was cold and saggy , my kids said that hotel food is much better than Damion's pizza. Never seen such worst service and attitude of the staff , Giving 1 star as there is no option for zero stars as you people don't deserve even single start. Really upset that we ordered 3 VEGAN items and one of the pizzas (the VEGAN GODFATHER) was delivered as a regular GODFATHER. Extreme negligence on the employee's part that prepared this pizza. Not only did it have REAL MEAT on it, it also had DAIRY CHEESE. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE train your employees in a.) what a vegan diet is if you are choosing to list vegan items on your menu.... ie. NO animal products whatsoever b.) how to prepare a vegan pizza. It really isn't too difficult. Please improve your care and accuracy in taking orders, I'm especially shocked as this was a written order that came through the website. It was not over the phone so it was not a case of miscommunication. If your franchise chooses to list vegan items, please make sure EVERY box is checked prior to leaving the store. I can't stress this enough. It would also be helpful for you to mark the name on the outside of the box.
