Airport MacDonald's put us through the risk of having an Accident on our way south. Doing afternoon shift and driving straight after work and relying on a restaurant which let us down. After work at 2000 we were driving out of Auckland for long weekend on Thursday the 18th October, On our way we thought we would buy a nice coffee so drove to airport MacDonald's and the staff at counter takes the money and gave us the number 186. There was no staff at Mc cafe hardly anyone inside but drive through was full on. I waited for 5mins then went to the counter to find out how much longer it will take, the staff looked at the other staff at drive through she said something then the at counter replied by saying not long. I went back to the car and my daughter waited more than 5mins . Two ladies going for a long drive at that time and this coffee taking sooo long to be made made me angry so I go back inside and find out that the manager refunded the money as they don't have time to make coffee. AFTER WAITING FOR MORE THAN 10MINS
My question; if McDonald's do not have enough staffs on duty why open till that time? If mccafe was not open than why was the order taken and wasted so much of my time?

Read moreUsually get good service at the branch being a former regular customer - working in the area, however on this particular visit, the service was pretty bad. I had a crazy hectic week with my Mum being in hospital and I stopped in as my house was being fumigated. I took my laptop to do some work while waiting for my home to be ready for re-entry.
I ordered an ice latte and received it with lots of black floaties swirling in the drink. I politely asked for a replacement, which I received but when I asked for a straw, the barista threw the straw at me and with a snarky attitude told me to have a good day - which woke me up from the haze I was in, but not in a good way.
I didn't know whether to laugh or throw my drink at the barista. Like I mentioned, it was already a hard long week for me and I realise that the barista probably has it's own issues as well, but the rudeness was completely uncalled for and unappreciated.
I returned my full order, got a half arsed apology from the duty manager, I requested a refund which I received and I left. Hoping in my next visit, not to encounter that type of pathetic...
Read moreThe staff member I spoke to was quite sarcastic when I queried what the drink was in my cup. I had ordered 2 share boxes and the drinks were 4 cups of coke and 4 cups of fanta I got the coke okay but only 2full cups of fanta and 2 half cups of what looked like a frozen fanta that had scum on the top when I asked what it was he said said it was fanta didn't it look like that to me I replied that 2 did but not the other 2 he said he would replace them and after 10 cups of rejects he came back with 2 cups of the same looking drink that still looked like frozen fanta with scum on the top I was still not happy so asked for 2 lemonade instead I understand that it is a very busy place but when you spend money on a product especially food that you get good quality the food was really good but the staff were terrible I was kept waiting for at least 5 minutes and actually had to ask for some one to come and attend to me I wouldn't...
