I ordered a soy, decaf coffee and a savoury muffin to be heated. The coffee arrived and after a few minutes I went back to the counter to enquire how long it took for the muffin to be heated. The staff member said, it is on its way. I watched the behind the counter area, and saw another staff member go to the counter, remove a muffin and place it in the microwave. I was not happy.And I will NEVER, EVER order a decaf coffee again - it was the most horrible coffee I have ever tasted - I could only drink it by pretending it was some other mysterious hot drink. I didn't take it back as I needed a drink and after what happened with the muffin I didn't feel at all like making a complaint. I had already had a disappointment as I thought I would treat myself to a proper lunch but the prices were really high, and they didn't have the sweetcorn fritters I had been hankering after. The vegetarian options were very limited - I am actually vegan but can eat vegetarian food if I need to. The muffin was tasty but I had no idea what was actually in it except tomato - lots of tomato!I doubt if I will ever go back there...

I must admit I really enjoy the food at this place. I always get the potato rosti eggs benedict with mushrooms and spinach and it's always terrific. There are some good vegetarian options and lots of sweets and slices. The coffee is OK, I don't want to knock it to much its just I ask for a flat white and always get lots of froth! Long blacks are usually pretty good. There is the playground to keep the kids busy while you eat. Worth a look if you happen to be at Mitre 10, which let's be honest, we all are...

I'm giving a average score as I didn't appreciate the floors being swept around me as I ate. They still had a hour to go before closing when this started and I found this to be rude and just wrong.
Food was good dispite taking awhile just for a slice and two cakes to be plated . I managed to drink my first cup of coffee before receiving my sweet.
Coffee was fantastic so that made up for the delay.
