Domino's Pizza Feilding — Restaurant in Manawatū-Whanganui

Ok after such a bad experience last week, we tried again for dinner tonight Friday night (20th July). Way more staff on tonight. Ordered online and did the tracker thing so my order was ready when I got there on time. Other than having to remind the staff member about the drink on our order no issues. Still think there needs to be menus up on the screens above the counter though so people can decide while they wait. Much better experience, would probably try again after this experience.

First experience: Ordered 11th July (Lunchtime) Screen said wait time was 13 minutes, more like 33 minutes. Not enough seating given the wait time, cleanliness leaves something to be desired the glass screen behind the milkshake machine was streaky. The Hawaiian pizza was light on toppings, one slice only had sauce and cheese all toppings right in the centre. Waited a while to be served at the counter. The guy serving was trying to make milkshakes and serve at the same time. The only other staff member who was cooking left to do a delivery, the lady was put doing deliveries already and came back to pick up drinks that had been forgotten off someone's order. Was also another customer who came back in after not getting the drink they paid for either. As for the shakes, It wasn't a thickshake, by the time the guy got over to the blender to turn it off between cooking and serving by himself more like a caramel milk with whipped cream. This is the second time my husband and I have attempted to order pizza from Domino's Feilding. We were going to order pizza from our usual, Hell's Pizza Feilding, when we realised it would take nearly 40 minutes to receive it. With that in mind we decided to try Domino again because the estimated finish time was within 20 minutes. We ordered their $28 meal deal with two large pizzas and two sides. Ordering was easy enough but when we went to pick it up the screen time said it was ready but the attendants could not "find" our order. We had to wait another 20 minutes before they "found" it. It had been completed and was left sitting out of sight. My husband negotiated a discount and we went home unimpressed and disappointed that our quick dinner meal was anything but quick. The attendants had to call their manager each time we spoke to them to sort out the order. In the end they gave us two cold pizzas, a soggy garlic bread, and a measly $5 off. The food tasted good enough (doesn't compare to Hell though). We will stick with our trusty Hell's Pizza for now on after a second fail attempt at ordering...

Dominos, Feilding, use to have a few guys from India that worked here. One in particular always had a ready smile, was polite, helpful, friendly and always remembered your name after an order. The pizza's were really nice. Now the pizza's have been overcooked (dark brown around the edges) and not as nice tasting, sometimes the wrong base. On my last visit I watched a staff member place a pizza on the warmer shelf, five minutes later I tried to get attention from one of the staff so I can ask if that was my pizza, and it was. All I got was "oh, sorry". How about putting your cell phones away, turn the oven down and ask your customers what their names are when they are waiting, just in case they are waiting for a pizza! I'm going across the road to Pizza Hutt now, if I can find a park, because they have been a lot busier than you...
