La Bull Cafe & Bar — Restaurant in Manawatū-Whanganui

Today we came to la bull, our once favorite place to come. Not any more. I’m very disappointed with the staffs attitude to me when I mentioned the corn fritters were not cooked. The young lad seemed to be taking a long time so I went to the kitchen and showed them the uncooked fritters. They all looked at me and there didn’t seem to be anyone who could deal with the issue. Finally another lad said they could be redone. Another long wait as my husband consumed his meal I was waiting. When it finally came back out the presentation was awful and the fritters were so small I couldn’t believe it. We’ve been here before and both my mother in law and I had the corn fritters and they were a decent size any very good. Anyway I took them up to the counter and said how I felt and asked for my money back. We love coming here and I’m sorry to complain. I don’t do it lightly. There were no apologies made by anyone and when the young lady put the money down on our table, she didn’t speak to me or look at me. Not...

Just been for a 2nd visit. Both tried different course on the menu and it was great. We both said coffee really good. Best moccacino I've had and husband said it best streetwise which was his all time favourite. Love this place

We have found our go to now when we go to Palmerston North. Might even just go there for an outing. The food was lovely. Gary said it was the best toasted sandwich he's had and I felt the same way about my BLT. Home made bread that was so tasty. We felt they could have charged more for the BLT. Very reasonable prices. They had a large screen TV with background music and wonderful scenes through the Mediterranean....

The food presentation was excellent, vèry tasty. Service was good, but in saying that there was not alot of people there at that time of the day. Friendly staff, my only gripe was, the cups were badly stained, my friends coffee cup was cracked right up one side, she would not say anything about it. That has put me off, sorry to say. Good parking around the street, also on the premises. Prices on par with other places, has a bar which is good for group functions, etc. or if you just want a wine, etc. Wheel chair friendly with ramp. Don't just take my word check it out for...
