Mint Cafe — Restaurant in Manawatū-Whanganui

Don't order the eggs with a side of hollandaise $14. Yuck! I ordered 2 x orders eggs on toast, came out with ciabatta bread so back it went, came out the 2nd time with one lot on toast and the other on another type of loaf bread. I gave my mate one of my slices of toast and gave the other bit of loaf bread to my Mother. Disappointing. Then the staffer argued that it was meant to be ciabatta anyway so had to show her the menu. The hollandaise was from a jar and tasted insipid, terrible. At least there are more chances for my birthday to be redeemed elsewhere for lunch and dinner today. Also the bacon egg n sausage breakfast has a TINY breakfast sausage not a regular kiwi sized sausage and whilst that meal was enjoyed by Aunty, disappointing due to cheerio sized sausage. Also there was a blow fly in the food cabinet and yep they have emptied the cabinet whilst we are here but hhhmmmm... Once we are gone? So maybe Today's not a good day to eat here lol Toilets need a deep clean. They have a layer of dirt on unwashed floors and walls and skirting boards. Need to get someone in that knows how to...

i am highly disappointed in the way that my family and i were treated in this cafe... we were not welcomed when we walked in and when we were served we asked for 2 of the wedges with cheese and bacon and sour cream on the side and the lady serving rudely said “well it already comes in the side” so we carried on our order... when the wedges came out there was a massive lot of sour cream on the top.. i said politely that we asked for it on the side and she rudely said that she would get us a plate because there’s no wedges... we also only got one knife and fork so i went and asked for a some more and while i was gone, my sister at the table found a piece of duct tape/packaging tape in our wedges! was highly disappointed! and while i was in line to tell them about the duct tape i saw that the person serving was grabbing everything out of the cabinet with her hands! no gloves or tongs! i do not recommend this cafe! had a...

Situated in the shopping court area there is plenty of parking. The decor is simplistic and local artwork adorns the walls.The chairs are comfortable and there is outdoor seating. Highchairs are available if needed. Plenty of cabinet food for a quick meal on the run. The coffee is Laffare which I personally found weak even though it was a double shot. I requested it in a tulip cup because I like it strong but it was delivered in a normal cup, I returned it only to have barista roll her eyes st me. The matter was swiftly corrected through another staff member. I ordered a ficelle but what I got had no resemblance to what was in cabinet.
