Good range of cakes, sweets, slices augmented by a very big range of sandwiches today. Savories and pies aplenty. Chicken pieces and other treats to enjoy with chips/fries (hot, crispy yum). Good range of coffees and cold/chilled drinks.

A large space to sit or stand for a chat and relaxation. A chance to chat with locals and or fellow travellers. Outside seating also clean and tidy. Being across the road from the train station and ok views makes sure I don't get bored. Toilets only 50 m away.

When we travel around in our motorhome we always stop there to get fish,. The batter is just so crispy and fish is so fresh, melt in your mouth. When we went there this morning we were so welcomed and they said "OW ,We Haven't seen you for a long time. It was so great to be remembered. They have a great variety of food and just so busy. Will always keep going back and supporting...

Delicious pies and a huge amount of options from pastries, sandwiches, skewers + chips to dessert slices. Potato top pie was one of the best I have had across the whole of NZ, delicious mince and a generous serving of potato topped with cheese. Smiling and helpful staff when I had questions. Highly recommend if you’re needing a feed or wanting a decent quick stop if passing...
