For years, they have been consistently putting out the best. Steak and cheese is best in NZ imo. Mince and cheese is also nice. Bacon and egg is not like your usual - but here’s the thing why would they copy how others make their bacon and egg. I still enjoy the bacon and egg which has a lovely balance and texture of egg and bacon taste. If you don’t like it get your bacon and egg somewhere else lol. It's not the closest to home but worth the travel to this bakery. They are closed on Mondays and sometimes open until 6pm at night when i have stopped to get pies to have with dinner. Usually have peppered steak pie. The chicken salad sandwiches are a great size and actually fill of ingredients. Lamingtons r soft and fresh and also jam slices. In my opinion this is probably the best bakery in South Auckland, you only have to look at the awards that they have on display. The steak n cheese pies are the best and they are filled with real meat and not 90% gravy like you get from other bakeries. The cream donuts and lamingtons are loaded with real cream and not that imitation stuff. The prices are good, you can get a decent feed...
