Its bloody good. Its local, hard working owner operators. I give them an unreserved A+ for quality. Attention to detail.Always the same, always great.
I have no affiliation with the restaurant Miles Roiguard - I work for the Government. You can search me on google. I think your review is crazy, and dubious. They would fix it immediately for you.
We go here about once a fortnight, because its the best Indian takeaway in the Wellington Region and we have deliberately tried many of them.
The food is very high quality, the chef is highly trained, and prepares the food in front of you. You can see the place is clean and well run.
You will like the food, typically we get the Mango Chicken and a vegetarian dish paneer makhani with the cheese tomato sauce.
Kashmiri naan are great. Rolled bread which name i forget is good too. Every time it spot on.. Try it, you will not be disappointed. Lovely owner operators who take pride in their business. High quality. Nothing like the runny mall foodcourt. Best i have come across in wellington. And i...
Read moreI've only tried two dishes from them so far - a chicken Korma and another one, but I have to say, they were amazing! Their chef was trained in India - I know because I shook his hand and asked him. His combinations of spices and flavours are just perfect.
I'm a big fan of Indian food and I've tried lots of it, and I think his Korma is the best I've had so far. It's certainly not low-calorie, but it tastes amazing.
They cook their chicken in a tandoor oven. Their Basmati rice is good - light and loose. And I tried a cheese Naan which was very nice too. And enormous!
I can't explain the reviewer who had only bad things to say. I'm not affiliated with them in any way. I have no idea how you could have had such a bad experience - from ANY takeaway, really, but especially this one. The place seems to be very well-run and the food I've had from them has beyond criticism.
The price was typical for good quality Indian takeaways - NZD 15.50 for a decent amount of Korma and rice. Highly...
Read more• They did not answer phone (tried 5 times), so had to go there to order • Went to the restaurant and waited more than an hour for the food • Food was sickly sweet – seemed to have used sugar instead of salt in butter chicken, vegetable korma, raita, naan bread – all inedible – we threw it out • Received the wrong order – asked for salad and received frozen, watery vegetables with no seasoning – had to add a lot of salt but was still revolting • Very expensive – cost $62 – it would have been more rewarding to set the money alight and watch it burn • Re the other glowing reviews – the only explanation we can think of is that these people are somehow associated with the restaurant, or the chef had a night off tonight • Have never, ever felt compelled to write a review of a restaurant before, but just had to, to counter the reviews that enticed us to try out this restaurant • We have never, ever had any Indian, or for that matter ANY restaurant...
