Arzum Turkish Cuisine — Restaurant in North Island

I ordered a kebab and told them there's certain veges i cannot eat so I would like to choose what goes in my salad. The guy behind the counter rolled his eyes and got really, really angry with me. I apologised and he just made me feel quite scared they both shouted at me that I should of let them know prior to preparing the salad. I get I should of said something but I thought we got to choose what went in it. I won't be coming back. There was no need for such abuse I left there feeling quite shaken up and scared to be honest. Just don't get on their wrong side whatever you do that's my advice. I said sorry many of times terrible customer service worst I've ever experienced.

Their reponse just goes to show the abuse I was talking about. I was not drunk or wasted, could I have worded this as articulately as I have? recalling all these details if I were too high to comprehend their behavior or mine?! My husband and I ordered two kebabs from this place yesterday evening. The person serving my husband didn't look so interested to serve us or answer any of his questions! We had to wait a lot longer as people who came after us were served! Worse thing was, I caught the man preparing the kebab trying to include a falafel that touched his t-shirt! He didn't, as I called him out not to do so! He was not wearing an apron. He had one glove on, but he kept touching all surfaces! Hygiene was so terrible that we wondered whether to report the place to the council! We will never visit this place again! Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. When I asked for extra sauce, I was willing to pay the extra charge, but the staff member's response was rude and unwarranted. He seemed agitated and lectured about the restaurant's standards, which wasn't relevant to my request.

I was taken aback by his behavior and felt unwelcome. As a customer, I expect a certain level of service and respect. After reading the owner's responses to other negative reviews, I'm concerned that there may be a deeper issue with the restaurant's approach to customer feedback.
