One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time! We visited Coco’s Trattoria for dinner and were very pleased with our experience! The staff were polite and quick to serve us, and the venue (including the bathrooms) was very tidy. Additionally, it’s very easy to book on their website. They also made it clear that their alcohol licence hadn’t been issued yet (as they are still fairly new) and that they couldn’t serve drinks, which was fine for us—we appreciated the heads-up! We ordered some of the handmade bread, which we could customise with as many toppings as we liked (cheese, chilli, herbs, or garlic). From the first bite, you could tell it was freshly made—it was soft and light. I would strongly recommend it! We also ordered the beef brisket on the side. The brisket was tender and melted in our mouths. The richness of the beef was balanced by the pickles and mustard—absolutely delicious and well worth it. For mains, we got the spaghetti gamberi (pan-fried prawn, chilli, garlic, olive oil) and the tortellini (pancetta, cherry tomato, pesto, toasted almonds). The portions were generous, and the flavours really stood out. Everything was well-seasoned without one flavour overpowering the others. We finished with the tiramisu, which was beautifully prepared—the biscuit layer was well infused with coffee. Brilliant. I can highly recommend Coco’s Trattoria! It was certainly the highlight of my latest visit to the Mount, and I look forward to returning.

We came in on Valentine's day. No booking, and while the restaurant was busy, they managed to get us a table after about a 20 minute wait. All the other places we'd tried were booked out, and I'm glad they were, because even though we hadn't planned to go to Cocos, I'm glad we did! The service was excellent, the young blonde girl serving us was friendly and attentive, and knew her job well. She explained the menu to us well. As mentioned the restaurant was busy, she didn't stop working for a second the whole time we were there. Well impressed! We ordered Oysters, Bruschetta, Truffle Pizza and Lamb Ragu Pasta. Every dish was exceptional! Oysters served on ice, with a delicious sauce to go with. I liked the slices of radish on the ice - just a nice touch! The bruschetta was among the best I've ever had! Plenty of parmesan cheese! Pizza base was brilliant, genuine wood fired dough, and the toppings generous - even the prosciutto was plentiful. The lamb Ragu Pasta had great flavour, rich and savoury, it was a decent portion too. High quality pasta and well presented with plenty of parmesan and garnish. Between two of us we shared the pizza and pasta and were very full! I really felt like the whole meal was good value for money, they definitely don't skimp on ingredients! Highly recommend this new eatery, gorgeous Italian food with a neat group of staff :) I'll be back!

This review is not from my experience in the restaurant I have come in the past and the food was great, the flavours and the way the plates were presented were great. Today I ordered uber eats and the presentation and quantities were so bad. Such a bad feeling afterwards because I was expecting the same. Unfortunately uber eats did not do anything but I am here just to show the owner or new clients that they do not do a good job when we talk about take aways. when we are actually paying more. We deserve to get same as customers in the restaurant.

I was really looking forward to trying this new spot after seeing its five-star Google reviews, but unfortunately it didn’t quite live up to my high hopes.

The two-person tables along the back were very close together, which kind of took away from the intimate date night vibe as we could hear the other couples’ conversations word for word and no doubt they could hear ours too.

Our food was served incredibly quickly, no more than ten minutes after ordering and our mains actually arrived before a side of fries, which we were very surprised by.

My partner had the spicy pizza which had a nice base and good flavour but there was no noticeable spice at all, which was disappointing for a spice lover. We also tried the soft shell crab, which tasted almost identical to a crab stick or battered fish from a fish and chip shop. Not necessarily bad, just not what we were expecting from a restaurant.

I had the lamb ragu pasta. It was presented well and I thought the portion size was generous and great value for money. Unfortunately the pasta was slightly clumped together, as if it had just come out of the pot and been plated straight away. Given how quickly everything arrived, it almost made us wonder. The ragu itself wasn’t unpleasant but it was a little watery and lacked the rich flavour I was hoping for.

I genuinely don’t mean to be harsh. It’s always great to see new restaurants popping up and I hope this is received as honest, constructive feedback. I really...
