Thank you for supporting Delicacy cafe. I am Taiwanese and I realized that day my action didn’t look hygienic to the customer, so I think I need to explain why I did it as I don’t want to damage reputation of my good boss and my wonderful team which I work with. What happened was that I poured some whole milk into a big milk jug before heating the milk, then I realized the customer had ordered trim milk in their coffee, so I didn’t want the cold whole milk sitting in the big metal jug at room temperature; therefore, I poured that milk back into the cold whole milk bottle to keep it chilled after I made the coffee for customer with trim milk in another metal jug. In hindsight, I should have put the whole jug in the fridge. I am very sorry that what I did caused this misunderstanding, but I really appreciate your feedback. I live in Tauranga and know the best places for food and coffee. I have visited Delicacy Cafe many times over the past year and I honestly think they are one of the best cafes in town. I’m fussy on coffee and they get it right every time. Their food is always fresh, with perfectly balanced flavours and a good variety if you have a large group. I like that they’re always trying something new unlike other cafes around town. The owner and staff are always welcoming but so efficient. It’s so unassuming yet that adds to its appeal. A Beautiful Hidden Gem in Tauranga!!! Stumbled upon this cozy little café and absolutely loved it. Tried the Eggs Benedict with salmon – perfectly done and full of flavour. The orange cupcake is a standout too: super moist with a refreshing citrusy kick.

They offer a wide range of tempting treats – it’s honestly hard to pick just one!

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are always friendly, polite, and full of good humour – it really makes the visit special.
