Best Indian Restaurant in Tawa by far! Tried the new restaurant tonight as a birthday treat for my wife, and a real treat it was. Will definitely be back to work our way through the pretty extensive menu. Good size portions with plenty of meat in the lamb and chicken dishes. Fantastic flavours, and good heat level - medium-hot was just the way I like it. My wife had her go to standard for a new restaurant - Chicken Jalfrezi, and announced it the best she's had. My Lamb Dopiaza was rich and full of flavour, with good chunks of tender meat, the garlic naan were crisp, but not dry, and the Mango Lassi just the right degree of sweet. Really recommend this restaurant for fantastic food, and the service is good too! Update - ate in for the third time tonight (plus one takeaway) - four different dishes and all have been delicious. Had Tawa Gosht tonight - goat curries are often more bone than meat, but not here. Also tried the Chat Papri and Bhel Puri starters, and both were great (may manage to convince my wife to have something other than vegetable samosas, but those are...

Easily one of the best Indian restaurants in Wellington! I’ve had their Chicken Tikka and Garlic Naan before both were spot-on but tonight’s Chicken Madras was next-level. Perfect spice, rich sauce, tender chicken, and the naan was as fresh and fluffy as ever.

The staff were welcoming and friendly, and they even threw in a sweet Indian treat at the end such a thoughtful touch that really made the meal feel special.

Everything from the service to the food quality is consistently excellent. If you love authentic Indian food with great portions and genuine hospitality, this place is an absolute gem....

Only had takeaway so rated food only .Lived in wellington for ten years now and this is by far the best Indian food I've had so far .From UK originally and have grown up eating indian .We won't be trying any other's as our local has now been cemented .Top notch flavours in all 3 Curries we tried and the Samosas are beautiful with the sauce on the side. Can't wait to try some more dishes 10 out of 10...
