Jolt Cafe — Restaurant in North Island

Today i went at about 1:45 and when I ordered coffee they took my order n said will close at 2:00 pm ..i thought i will drink in between 15 minutes not a big issue but then I remember the timings on google says they are open till 3 pm..and when i said to other lady that the timings are showing till 3 o clock she says yes you can sit till 2:30..how you can treat customer who has come long way and you say you are closing early because it’s quiet .that’s not our problem..we come from home as we know there is time and you greet customer by saying we are closing soon but you have more time but did not want the...

Usually full of flavor (scallop salad is lovely) this was oddly disappointing. I had the catch of the day for $24 with "hand cut chips' and salad. The type and amount of fish was meagre, the salad, a small amount of curly lettuce with a few strips of carrot, was only dressed at the top so was dry and nasty once you ate the top level, and the chips were actually wedges leaving you wanting for all over crispiness. I then bought a small carrot cake with cream cheese icing. This was neither sweet nor tangy and I wouldn't buy again. Hopefully just an off day for a cafe that usually delivers fresh...

We, a family group of 7, had a booking at Jolt today. The table was reserved and ready for us. The food was of a high standard and beautifully presented Staff were professional, quickly fixing an error in the charge of one dinner. Service was prompt, with the food ordered being served piping hot; a variety of orders in quick succession. I also liked that the hot drinks were served to the timing the customers asked for.
