Mate, my grandma, along with my great auntie Nella, and i used to visit Tiffany's from when I was 4 years of age (I'm now 53ish). Always loved walking down those stairs only to be greeted by that unmistakable aroma of the coffee in the perculator. Plastic trays and enamel plates filled with all the good stuff. Friends and I went to check out the new Tiffany's. I was so disappointed. Mince savory was just mince thickened in a bread case, no salt and pepper, no onion, flavorless. Mushroom case was the same, overthickened and cold . Friends had stable chocolate slice and the one high point of nice pastry.
