Levin Fishy Business Takeaway — Restaurant in North Island

Tried their dumplings, bbq pork & duck. Very pleased to find this place, the only one I know of on the Kapiti Coast that does duck & pork to takeaway. Dumplings were tasty with lots of greens inside & good sized, they came fried, I dont know if they also do boiled. Pork & duck hanging in display cabinet, they chop it for you. Neither come with dipping sauces. Duck not too fatty. They don't do rice rolls anymore (as shown in menu photos posted by others). About half a dozen tables to eat at. Not sure, but it looked like hot tea available. Also do the usual Chinese takeaways, burgers, etc.

Anyone wanting Chinese BBQ food in Levin...head there. its on the main St just near Sponge kitchen. If there is no parking in front, there is free council parking at the back. Roast duck is A1. Can be comparable to restaurant quality. The roast pork is great too. Im not a fan of bbq pork but my friends love it. They do serve fish n chip n burgers and your normal friend noodles n friend rice..the normal takeaway stuff. If u are interested in rice congee..or even bbq pork bun, they have. Stopped by for dinner while passing through Levin after coming off the Wellington Ferry. We ordered the bbq meat sets, fried noodles, wantons soup and dumplings. Generous portions! Everything was delicious, bbq duck and roast pork very well made. The wantons and dumplings were big, juicy and fresh. Not thirsty after eating therefore feels like no artificial flavouring. Also bought the store made chilli to take home, as it was savoury delicious. Great value for money, will definitely come by again to support a hardworking couple running a small eatery business in Levin, serving up nice...
