I don’t know how this place has such great reviews or maybe coming for breakfast was our mistake. We visited Friday morning, arriving just after 9am. When we arrived, we weren’t greeted, found our own seats, got our own menus, so not off to a great start. I would have expected table service but there was none. We had to go up to the counter to order from who seemed to be the manager who was uninviting and didn’t want to be there. We had to grab our own cups and jug of “who knows how long the water had been sitting there for” - it didn’t taste very fresh. At least there was no credit card surcharge. Coffees came out promptly and pretty much all all that was good ended there. After a bit of a wait, food finally arrived. For one dish, we had ordered scrambled eggs only to receive poached but didn’t say anything as we didn’t want to make a fuss. The garlic on the mushrooms was a nice touch. The eggs benedict was not so great, just barely edible, only finishing to avoid food waste. The eggs were good quality but poached in extremely salty water, leaving the entire egg white very salty. The hollandaise sauce was equally salty and a weird consistency, smeared on the plate. The combination of the two left me cringing with how salty it all was. The hash was more crushed potatoes, a single “patty” and something to skip. Saving grace for the dish were the raw baby spinach leaves and bacon. Sadly won’t be returning for any of the menus or recommending.

A nice, modern yet intimate setting for a coffee, a meal or dinner(later in the week). You can almost see your meal being cooked! The coffee and cabinet food have something for everyone with nice flavours. I’m plant based so the salads are perfect and regularly change. The nourish bowl is another of my favourites (which I had today) and is usually ready to go. Each day there is a different main for lunch. My favourite is Sago Fritters on a Monday. I have been for evening meals and Cliff is very flexible at offering something suitable if not many plant based dishes are on the menu. The meals are colourful and deliciously flavoursome. They also serve a good range of drinks with your meal. The staff are friendly and music at a nice level. A true escape from your everyday. A recipe for my go to for a nice lunch/dinner.

We went to Lot2 a couple of nights ago and tried what they told us was a brand new menu for dinner. Being on vacation, we tried darn near all of it, and every single dish was amazing. The crudo is the only thing I remembered to take a picture of because I got so distracted by how good everything was. The attention to detail and range on this menu is impressive. Every sauce perfectly complements the dish (ex: light and fresh green sauce with a bit heavier lamb and beef croquettes). It’s one of the best meals that we had on our trip. We will definitely be back some day!

Had the most amazing dinner here. Blown away by the amazing service and so impressed that chef was able to prepare dinners for so many people so quickly. Very cool vibe with laid back music and lovely lighting. But the food is the real showstopper: everything on the menu is so delicious and packed with flavour. The chicken curry has the perfect amount of kick and the beef steak is just perfection. Great size of meals for price too! You don’t usually get reasonable prices and good food sizes made to such a high quality. Finally but definitely not least of all is the tiramisu. All of the desserts look delicious but the tiramisu was really something else. It says it’s for 2 but for me it’s...
