If you're in the mood for overpriced, freezer-burned cuisine with all the charm of a microwave meal from 1998, look no further than Market Kitchen. Their tagline proudly screams “Fresh Local Fare,” but don’t be fooled – the only thing fresh here is the audacity to charge sky-high prices for food that tastes like it was defrosted by a blindfolded intern in a hurry. Every bite was a masterclass in mediocrity – soggy, bland, and suspiciously cold in the middle. I guess the “local” part refers to the supermarket freezer aisle down the road? Save your money, your taste buds, and your faith in humanity. Do yourself a favor and don’t order from here.

The café has a pleasant atmosphere and the food is delightful. While the service is generally acceptable, it can become a bit hectic during lunchtime, leading to longer wait times. It’s noticeable that the staff are working hard and staying busy, but there may be delays in food preparation. Additionally, the directions for catering could be clearer, as it's not always easy to find where to pick it up. Overall, a few improvements in these areas could enhance the experience.

Worst service ever. A lady working in the cafe with a blonde hair and eyelashes extension. She was so rude. The way she served us really bad. When i asked how long it takes for the coffee, she said more 10 mins sarcastically with rolling her eyes. Poor level of Customer service😡😡

Terrible organisation there were 2 queues which were both very slow we had no idea where to order and when we finally got to the counter we were told we needed to grab the muffins ourselves and bring them up and so we had to line up again. I asked for 2 flat whites just half full and the person making them made them both full and when I said I asked for half full she tipped out half of the coffee and tried to give me the same ones. I politely asked her to redo them at which I got an eye roll. The pizzas were horrible, bbq pork was drowning in sauce and they were both left under the heat pump too long which made them both cold. This place could be so much better managed. My husband and I own a restaurant in Australia and this place could be a gold mine if managed right. Such a shame they really don’t seem to care but charge premium prices for really...

The views from the cafe is amazing, but sadly the food is not. We had to opt for having lunch here after the exciting luge rides. We ordered soup of the day - pumpkin soup and was probably the best part of lunch. We also had the vegetarian Pizza, which was weirdly sweetened with the jam. The vegan burger was so dry that we couldn’t really eat much of it. The chocolate muffin tried its best to salvage the lunch, but it wasn’t to be. I can understand the lengthy time wait due to the rush and being the only cafe. But the food should’ve been better. We also had an unpleasant encounter with a group next to us smoking despite it clearly being marked as a non...
