Popular tourist spot in Rotorua. No wait times and all staff were helpful and welcoming. The gondola up and down took about 5 minutes. Great views from the back. The luge down was fun. How to operate the carts were explained to us. Not difficult at all. The chair lift back to the top took a bit longer but was peaceful. All-in-all we had a nice time. Must see when in Rotorua.

Tips for the luge: First time riders have longer waits than others due to instructions. We had to wait 30 min first time (peak season) but only 10 min thereafter. There are two launch areas: The one in the back has much shorter lines. You can buy additional luge tickets on top of the mountain. Families can share 5-ride tickets etc, so much cheaper than buying multiple singles.

Skyline is pretty much the best gravity-assisted fun you can have without an aeroplane or access to an intercontinental ballistic missile.

However, I really think they should do an adults only lockout sometime.

I know I should feel bad about barreling into some primary aged school kids as fast as Newtons laws allow, but it's actually halirious. And I laugh so hard I forget about steering and almost end up down the side of the mountain. I'm not sure whether this takes away or adds to the experience as it happens pretty much anytime. School day or not.

Anyway. Yes good. Fun had. Lots of giggles. Do...
